Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort Murray Course, Mulwala

The 18 hole Murray course carves its way through red gum forests and sandy river flats where numerous lakes and lagoons are ready to swallow the errant shot. The course is certainly one of the most popular on the Murray and with good reason. The natural bush and river setting and the spectacular course design make the round of golf one you will remember for a long time.

The Murray course was designed by Peter Thomson / Mike Wolveridge. “The opening four holes of this 6,085 metre design lead you to the north bank of the Murray River, where the rump of the 5th tee nudges the river itself. The 470 meter hole wanders along the banks of our mightiest river amid a Tom Roberts’ landscape of haughty gums. Another hole that sticks vividly in the memory is the 184 metre 13th, a straightaway hole but with a large pond stretching most of the left side of the fairway and which can cause some tentativeness with club selection.” Located along side the Murray River, Yarrawonga & Border is a golfers paradise with perfect blue skies and immaculate greens.
