Original Onsen Hot Pools Experience

These idyllic cedar-lined hot tubs have long been a highlight for Queenstown visitors and locals alike. A unique kiwi twist on a Japanese tradition, you will have exclusive use of one of our classic indoor cedar tubs for 60 minutes as you kick back, relax and enjoy your surrounds. Ideal for individuals or groups up to 4 people, each pool is heated to approx. 38.5 degrees and comes with a retractable roof. You will receive towels and a complimentary drink and snack to enjoy during your rejuvenating soak.

Queenstown Wine & Food Tour

This half-day wine and food experience delivers an unforgettable taste of Central Otago’s wine region, showcasing its superb local produce. Your winery lunch is exclusively for Queenstown Wine Trail guests only. Lunch consists of several tasting dishes each perfectly matched by the Chief Winemaker and Head Chef, using estate wines and fresh local produce. Enjoy wine tasting and presentations at 3 wineries, generally visiting one larger well-known winery and two boutique-style wineries. An underground wine cave tour & tastings gives you inside information about our great wines and the Central Otago wine industry.

Walter Peak Gourmet BBQ Dining Experience

For a dining experience like no other, cruise across Lake Wakatipu on the iconic TSS Earnslaw and discover Queenstown’s incomparable fine dining destination. Cruise aboard the historic TSS Earnslaw across to Walter Peak High Country Farm. Once at the lakeside Colonel’s Homestead Restaurant savour the delicious aromas as our chef has the best of local produce sizzling away on the grill.

Overlooking Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown’s alpine scenery, the Colonel’s Homestead at Walter Peak High Country Farm is the perfect place to spend a few hours. Its colonial architecture and sweeping grounds evoke the elegance of a bygone era. Our lunch menu has been refreshed with the introduction of our new executive chef. They’ve enhanced the seasonal menu with new salads, vegetables and a variety of succulent meats cooked on the wood-fired BBQ. We do not offer fish for lunch, but vegetarian options are available and there are delectable desserts to make room for too. An entertaining farm demonstration is also included or you can explore the beautiful lakeside gardens.
