Daintree Rainforest, Queensland
Visit the only place in the world where two World Heritage listed areas – The Daintree Rainforst and The Great Barrier Reef exist side by side forming one of the most diverse ecosystems on earth. The Aerial Walkway allows unprecedented access to the mid-level rainforest and offers stunning views over McLean’s Creek. Constructed with visitor safety and comfort in mind, the walkway enables wheelchair access to both the Interpretive Display Centre and the base of the Tower.

The Aerial Walkway:

Has a mesh system that helps to prevent mosquitoes breeding
Protects the fragile rainforest root systems by keeping people off the ground
Spot crocodiles in the wild, sample delicious locally made tropical ice creams (own expense), marvel at the beauty of this area from Alexandra Lookout and take in the rainforest from the forest floor with informative guided walks and if you are lucky you may spot a cassowary.
